Are you looking to add a new companion to your family? We invite you to view our albums, where you'll find the available animals in the care of the Valley SPCA that are waiting for a permanent home.
Every animal has been examined, has received its first vaccines, is dewormed and treated for external parasites (fleas, mites), and has, when age permits, been spayed / neutered.
All of our animals are microchipped before leaving the shelter for their new home.
Adoptable Dogs
When the dog is unable to get spayed or neutered while in our care, a $75 refund will be issued upon submission of proof of sterilization performed by a certified veterinarian.

DEEDEE
Miss Deedee returned back to us 2 years after she was adopted, the second family who adopted her, had dogs that Deedee didn’t get along with.
She loves her human companions, and is very obedient.
Shes a high energy dog who LOVES to play. But don’t interrupt this ladies mid day siesta, or you might be forced to join her!
Deedee is more than worth the effort and patience. It takes just a few moments for her to warm up to you, since she’s had a few families unfortunately. If you have some treats, she’s totally yours.
MEO
Sadly, Méo is back with us.
It is never easy to see one of our beloved dogs return to the shelter, and today, it's our handsome Méo.
Méo is a loving dog who deserves to find his forever family. Unfortunately, he needs a very specific environment in order to thrive. Méo cannot live with other dogs. When he sees another dog, he becomes very reactive and feels the need to chase it out of his sight. This does not make him a bad dog—he simply needs a family that understands his needs and is willing to provide the right environment for him.
Méo's ideal home would be one with a securely fenced yard, where he can safely enjoy being outdoors without constantly encountering other dogs. He will also need to be he only dog in the home. Behind his reactivity is a loyal, affectionate dog who simply wants to build a strong bond with the people who choose to love him.
We know his forever family is out there. Someone who will look beyond his challenges and give him the love, patience, and stability he deserves.

SIERRA
INFORMATION:

SIERRA'S STORY:
Sierra was brought to us on April 29th, 2026. She was a very shy girl and unsure of people at first, but after a few weeks of socializing, she has improved so much!
Sierra will need a home with older children, as she can still get nervous in busy environments. Once she feels comfortable, she absolutely loves being petted and getting attention. She also gets along well with the cats here at the shelter.
As for dogs, she has not been tested with them yet, so we can’t say how she would do at the moment.
HONEY "PENDING"
INFORMATION:

HONEY'S STORY:
Honey arrived at the shelter on September 9, 2026, after a kind lady had been caring for her for quite some time. When Honey came to us, we discovered that she was pregnant, so we placed her in a wonderful foster home where she could safely have her babies.
A couple of weeks later, her foster noticed blood around her vulva, so we rushed Honey to the vet the very next day. She needed an emergency C-section, and sadly, her two kittens were not alive when they were delivered. Honey was also spayed during the procedure.
After taking some time to heal, Honey is now all ready for her forever home!
About Honey:
• Loves being petted
• Super friendly and enjoys being around people
• Has been around a dog in her foster home and remained calm and comfortable
• She never hissed, puffed up, or showed aggression around the dog, although they didn’t interact much because the dog was quite energetic
MIMI
INFORMATION:

MIMI'S STORY:
Sometimes, life has a way of bringing unexpected blessings, even after heartbreak.
Mimi arrived at Valley SPCA La Vallée on July 31, 2026, pregnant and in need of a safe place to welcome her babies. She was placed with a wonderful foster family, where she gave birth to five kittens. Sadly, all five kittens passed away for unknown reasons.
But Mimi's story didn't end there.
Around the same time, we received five orphaned kittens from another litter, who were only about four weeks old. Luckily, Mimi was still producing milk, and the little ones were able to latch onto her! She became a surrogate mama, giving these kittens a chance to grow and thrive.
After spending some time in foster care, Mimi returned to the shelter and waited patiently until she could finally be spayed. Now, she's officially spayed and READY TO FIND HER FOREVER HOME!
A little bit about Mimi:
She is one of the sweetest cats you'll ever meet!
She absolutely loves being petted and receiving affection.
She LOVES her food!
We haven't had many opportunities to see how she interacts with other cats, so we're unsure how she would do in a home with feline companions.
Mimi was previously in a foster home with a small dog, so we know she gets along well with small dogs!
Mimi has been through a lot, but she has so much love left to give. Now, it's her turn to be someone's baby, to be spoiled with affection, and to enjoy a home where she can finally be the one receiving all the love.
LUCKY
INFORMATION:

LUCKY'S STORY:
Lucky was surrendered to our care on May 28, 2026, due to personal circumstances. After spending time getting to know her, evaluating her personality, and helping her become more comfortable and confident around us, we’re happy to say that Lucky is now ready for adoption!
Lucky is a very independent girl who enjoys doing things at her own pace. She loves being petted and receiving attention from her humans, but when she’s had enough, she’ll simply let you know by running off to enjoy some space of her own.
When it comes to other cats, Lucky tolerates their presence but definitely prefers having her own space.
Lucky is looking for a loving home where her independence and boundaries will be respected, while still giving her plenty of love and affection when she asks for it.
LEE ANN
INFORMATION:

LEE ANN'S STORY:
Lee Ann came into our care on June 2nd, 2026, along with her kitten, Kevin, who unfortunately passed away from unknown causes.
When Lee Ann first arrived, she wasn’t socialized with people and was understandably very unsure of us. But every day, our team spent time with her, patiently helping her learn that she could trust us. Little by little, she gained more confidence and made so much progress!
You still have to take things slowly when petting her, but once she realizes she’s safe, she completely melts into your hand because she loves the attention so much.
Lee Ann gets along very well with the other cats at the shelter. As for dogs, we’re currently unsure how she would do.
This sweet girl has come such a long way, and we can’t wait for her to find a loving home where she can continue to blossom.
TI BB
INFORMATION:

TI BB'S STORY:
Ti BB was surrendered to us after she had a tough time being around her other feline friends.
Shes a spayed 2 year old female who is very sweet. Ti BB is the couch potato of the group, and would really just love someone to be around.
Ti BB doesn’t appear to be the lap cat some people dislike, she’s a princess, it’s on her terms

SNOOKIE
INFORMATION:

SNOOKIE'S STORY:
Snookie came to us on September 11th, 2026. At first, we thought he would be part of our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program. But after weeks of patiently socializing with him every single day, we discovered something special… Snookie can enjoy pets!
He won’t ask for attention just yet, and he’s still very scared and learning that humans can be kind. Because of this, Snookie will need a very patient family who is willing to give him time, space, and lots of love while he learns to trust.
A calm, quiet home without children would be best for him, as too much activity or stress can be overwhelming.
Snookie may need a little extra time, but we know that with the right person, he can continue to come out of his shell.
